Flock - Write Up
gothicat
Positives
1. People turned up
2. I bought shiny things
3. I got some feedback

Negatives
1. I think people got bored
2. I was very tired after the meet and torture garden
3. The fetish fair wasn't as big and bells and whistly as I expected

What we have learned
1. The fetish fair should be a two hour or so visit thing incorperated into a social vanilla pub based meet. Find a pub near by the fair. The fair is smaller than I thought and thus you can get round it in half an hour. If we make it a 2 hour visit that means we can shop and socialise in full fetish gear then change and go back to pub or go home.
2. Don't run the flock after a furmeet. Even if it seems to be a good idea at the time for a furry weekend I really need my energy to run this thing.
3. Be more leadery. You are running this!

So. The flocks will be every three months (so the next one in July 12th) due to money issues (not everyone has enough money to go out for the meet and also go out for the flock every month). I will be finding a pub near the fetish fair to meet up in. The fetish fair will be optional but only spending up to 2 hours there then heading back to the pub or heading home after. More info will come about this later.

If you have any ideas I would love to hear them. There is hopefully also going to be a yearly big event but that might not be for a whie.

With Love
Gothi xxx

PS: Thanks to everyone who came.

With the way that things stand with the meet on the 12th and the possibility of the after party I am considering staying over night (although it might be possible to return given that the party packs in at 10:30pm, but I have to bear in mind that this is a Sunday with reduced services.

Anyone willing to give crash space for the weekend in London, or are willing to share a Hotel bill (I can find a responsibly priced place I think for up to 4 people)?

If I can't get either then i might have to re-evaluate my plans a bit for the weekend.

Who's coming to the first meet?

Well it seems a fair enough question? Who is coming to the first meet on the 12th?

PLEASE NOTE THAT THESE MEETS ARE FOR OVER 18S ONLY AND I WILL REQUIRE YOU TO BRING ID IF YOU LOOK UNDER 18

I personally am leaning towards the 12th (mostly from a getting things prepared pov) so the day after the London Meet.

SO.. this is what I am proposing.

Fetish Fair Venue: Parker McMillan 47 Chiswell Street, Barbican London EC1Y 4SB
Nearest Station: Moorgate Station on the Northern Line

So meeting at 2.30pm at MOORGATE STATION(I would make it earlier and we have a pre drink/coffee but I am not sure what is open up there) then head up to the venue for 3. (means we're in time for the 3.30 workshop if people are wanting to go)

£8 entry then whatever you want to spend on food/drink and if people want they can leave at 5.45 or stay for the after party which is included in that entry fee (if you don't leave the premisis) which lasts until 10.30pm

April 13th (the monday) is BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY so some of you will probably have that day off!

We can then discuss how it went..
